Jim Luckey
Guitar

Jim has been playing, teaching and writing most of his life. He started out playing drums by learning from his father who taught Pete Lucia from Tommy James And The Rondels. But after discovering the power and diversity of the electric guitar his life changed dramatically. After teaming up with his brother in-law Tommy Barth, Jim and Tom were regulars at The Stanhope House opening up for acts like Muddy Waters, New Riders Of The Purple Sage, Commander Cody, Taj Mahal, Eric Anderson and many many more. Jim met Stan “doc” Penridge from the KISS writing coral and the two teamed up and wrote, performed and recorded in a number of ventures including The Maxx and The Criss/Penridge Alliance which included Peter Criss from KISS and Lenny Colocino from Beatlemania. Some of Jims diverse band history, from cover to original and also tribute bands, includes The Mutants From Boonton, Freedom, The Blue Birds, The Max, The Criss/Penridge Alliance, The Clam Police, Big Bang Boom and the NYC based Foreigner tribute band Head Games to name a few. Currently Jim resides on his 85 acre estate in Green Township NJ and is enjoying the adventures of SUPERNOVA.
