Formed in late 2001 with the specific goal of being of the one the most sought after bands in New Jersey, SUPERNOVA has made a measurable impression for others to follow.  In their short time together, the band has been able to showcase their talent at pre-game playoff games for the New Jersey Devils and New Jersey Nets.  Playing the local club scene is no small game either. In less than three years they have played over 200 shows.  They have been sought after by industry giants like Casio Electronics and Weichert Financial Services to perform at their corporate functions.  The band also prides itself in doing benefit shows. One recent show was the widely publicized COVERPALOOZA in which SUPERNOVA along with five other bands raised funds to help cover medical expenses for a little girl from Rockaway. Most recently was THE TSUNAMI BENEFIT sponsored by The Daily Record. SUPERNOVA also won the best band in Morris County in 2004 by the readers of The Daily Record.

SUPERNOVA covers a wide variety of music from the 70’s to today’s hits.  You’ll find yourself singing and dancing along with tunes from Puddle of Mudd, The Strokes, Billy Idol, The Beatles, Bon Jovi, Nickelback, Cheap Trick, Collective Soul, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Green Day, Guns & Roses, Van Halen and much much more.
